What was difficult? Receiving the call that my Dad had just had a heart attack and the blur of 24hrs getting home to my family.
What am I thankful for? Hospitality and conversations with strangers with lots of love, understanding and open hearts.
What did I learn about God? He hears us. Fervent prayers in the midnight hour are heard and also are when your most raw and real talks with God occur!
Funniest Moment? Jungle Speed game with new friends. A game of attention, detail, and speed. There were injuries that occurred but all worth it for the laughs and fun.
Favorite Memory? Dipping my hands in the water where our savior, Jesus Christ, was baptized!
I was only in Jordan for one short week but boy was it sweet and packed full of memories I will treasure forever.
I’m glad you got to see and do your Jordan River bucket list item and most of all came all the way back to see your Dad and family in a time of uncertainty!!! I want to say THANKS to all the racers for the prayers for Amy and her Dad!!!
We love Amy and we love Amy’s family!! Thankful to God that He led you to be where you needed to be, when you needed to be there. I will always treasure that one week with you in Jordan, FOREVER !!
