Amy Scott

Role: Logistics

The emotional one. Feeler of deep things. One to notice the gravity or awesomeness of a moment, event, or place. A good listener. Peaceful spirit.

Our last team changes occurred before we left Turkey and headed to Jordan. We found out through a game of P-Squad Jeopardy! I immediately was stoked because I finally was on a coed team! And I had several people who I had hoped I would get a chance to be teammates with to get to know them better.

We were sent off to have our first team time and come up with our team name. We had so many good ones but we kept coming up with “C” words: coffee, caffeine, camels, Carolina (3 of the 6 of us call the Carolinas home), Christ, Christian so we settled on just keeping our name C3 and when people asked us what the 3 C’s were we could change them and adjust to where we were and what we were doing.

We were:

Christian Coffee Connoisseurs
Caffeinated Carriers of Christ
Cool Charismatic Camels
Cool Calm Collected
Chiang Mai Chaco Chasers
Casually Cultivating Connections
Capturing Christian Content
Carrying Compadres to Countries
Constantly Creating Conversations
Carrying Correct Change
Crispy Chicken Consumers

Our Team Values:

  • Caring for our bodies, minds & souls
  • Cultivating fun & freedom in Christ
  • Completing the race strong
  • Continuing to grow in intimacy with Christ
  • Captivate people with the power of the Living God
  • Curiosity of other cultures
  • Creating freedom in our disciplines
  • Community of respecting & honoring each other through action

C3 was the perfect team to end the race with, we were friends who became family. In Thailand we got to spend A LOT of time together in an office and still yet in our free time we chose to spend with each other too. It was the perfect balance of deep and fun, adventure and business, coffee and water. Thanks for a great ending C3, wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else!

Closing time, every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end, yeah…

  1. Amy!! Your words are so kind and more importantly true! I miss all your sudden laugh attacks and/or tears. They both are full of joy. The Lord’s presence is incredibly clear in you and I was thankful to be on a team with you! I love you Amy!
